About Me

farkas, nancy dabr coral 2012While real estate is a second career for Nancy, following a fast-paced career in international retail merchandising and management, it quickly became her primary passion and focus. When she decided she was ready to make a major career change, she recalled how important her Realtors® had been to her during her relocations throughout her retail career. They had been her primary contacts in each new city from Chicago to Atlanta, Los Angeles and San Francisco. In addition to helping her find her new home in each of these cities, they had also been invaluable sources of area information.

Although during her retail merchandising career, Nancy lived in several major metropolitan cities and traveled extensively around the globe, she never found the place she wanted to call home until she discovered Dayton. “When I arrived in Dayton,” Nancy recalls, “I immediately sensed that this was the place I had been searching for. Its welcoming spirit of friendliness, strong focus on family values and impressive cultural base, made me feel that this was home.”

As a result, Nancy concluded that a career in real estate would allow her to combine her extensive business experience, her passion for the Dayton community and her desire to help families transition comfortably through this major change in their lives. She determined that she would become a trusted advisor for each of her own clients.

Nancy immediately immersed herself in her new career, securing key real estate designations and accreditations, and she quickly became one of the area’s leading real estate professionals. She also became a leader in the real estate industry, serving as a Director for the Dayton Area Board of Realtors® and the Ohio Association of Realtors®. In 2008, She was elected President of the Women’s Council of Realtors®, and in 2013, President of the Dayton Area Board of Realtors®. In 2010, she was honored as Ohio Women’s Council Realtor® of the Year.

In her desire to get more involved and give back to her new community, she volunteered to serve on several non-profit community boards including the Opera Guild of Dayton, the Dayton Performing Arts Alliance, the Bach Society of Dayton and Dayton Public Radio.

So, when the time comes for your next move, call Nancy to experience real estate from a truly professional perspective, and “Expect the Very Best!”
